Reading on your phone? Tap to simulate the scan →Three leaks every factory owner knows
Invisible on paper. Obvious the moment bundles are scanned.
"Cutting sent 1,200. Sewing received 1,140."
The 60 pieces are on the floor, on someone's machine, or gone. On paper nobody can say which. You find out at packing, when it has become a delivery problem.
"This isn't what I earned"
Manual piece counting always has "errors." Your best operators threaten to leave, and supervisors lose days every month reconciling pay.
"Why is Line 3 stuck?"
A line sat stuck for 2 hours and you heard about it at end of day. By then the pile-up is 500 pieces deep.
Paper bundles to live tracking, in 4 steps
No servers, no IT team. Your operators' own phones do the tracking. The screens below are from our own floor, not mockups.
Supervisor dashboard with real-time production pulse, bottleneck detection, and quick actions
TV-optimized live monitor showing active operators, bottlenecks, and earnings leaderboard
Production batch management with status tracking across the entire manufacturing pipeline
Automated payment sheet with piece counts, gross earnings, deductions, and advances
Comprehensive inventory with fabric library, stock ledger, aging analysis, and reorder planning
Finished goods tracking with SAC receipts, A/B grade classification, and dispatch management
The five modules that run the floor
QR bundle tracking, automatic piece-rate, live WIP, cut & sew, dispatch traceability.
Fabric & Accessory Inventory
- Immutable stock ledger with a full audit trail. Kg for knits, meters for wovens
- Auto-deduction on cutting, broken down roll by roll
- Low-stock alerts: “7 days until stock-out” from your last 30 days of use
Cut & Sew Management — Cutting Room to Assembly
- Multi-size, multi-color cutting sheets with auto bundle generation and QR labels
- Bundle handoff: scan bundle → scan operator badge → done. Zero paperwork
- Marriage tracking: front, back and sleeves must converge before assembly starts
Dispatch, Compliance & Supply Chain Traceability
- SAC receipts with A/B grading and atomic numbering (SAC-2082-0001)
- Challans with printable picking lists and A4 dispatch documents
- Lot pipeline ledger: CUT → RECEIVED → DISPATCHED balances per lot and article
Quality Control & Damage Management
- Damage reports with photo evidence, severity levels, and payment-hold rules
- Damaged pieces split into repair bundles. Repairs pay 1.5× the operation rate
- B-grade inventory by defect type: stain, tear, size, stitching
Biometric Attendance & Salary
- ZKTeco fingerprint check-in/out (ADMS protocol)
- 15-minute grace, overtime at 1.5× after 8 hours, half-day rules
- Monthly sheet: piece-rate + attendance + OT + bonuses − advances = net payable

Four things built on our own sewing floor because no vendor had them.
Component Marriage Tracking
Front, back and sleeves each get their own bundle and must be matched before stitching starts. A short component shows up the same day, not after dispatch.
5-Layer Auto-Recovery
A bundle stuck mid-line gets cleared by five independent backup systems, usually before anyone notices.
Colour-Continuity Work Picker
The work picker scores same-colour work highest, so operators keep the same thread instead of re-setting up every bundle. On our own floor that holds 67% of the time.
Drag-and-Drop Kanban Planner
One board, eight stages from sampling to completed. Stages update from what actually happened on the floor: batches, receipts, challans. The board can't drift from reality.
Factory Owners Who Made the Switch
Real results from garment factories — RMG, CMT, and integrated — that were running on Excel and WhatsApp before garment factory automation.
"We used to spend 3 days every month reconciling payments. Operators were always arguing. After Scan ERP, everything is calculated automatically on every scan. No more fights. My supervisor can finally focus on production."
"I was losing 200–300 pieces every week and didn't know where. Within the first week of using Scan ERP, I could see exactly which operator had which bundle. We recovered ₹40,000 in the first month just from that."
"My operators are not tech people. I was worried they wouldn't use it. But scanning a QR code is easier than using WhatsApp — and they already know WhatsApp. Everyone was scanning from day one."

What's Scan ERP worth to your factory?

Every feature was needed on my own sewing floor first.
I'm Santosh Rijal — MBBS doctor, co-founder of MedicosPDF (200,000+ users), and owner of Trishakti Apparel, a 500-machine RMG/CMT factory in Nepal. Every ERP I evaluated was built for brands or accountants, not for the sewing floor. So I built Scan ERP for my own factory, and it has run there since 2024.
Questions Factory Owners Ask Before the Call
Including the two we get asked most on WhatsApp.
What does Scan ERP cost for my garment factory?
Two models, and you pay whichever bills lower each month: $5 per machine or $0.001 per piece tracked. A 100-machine factory at 3,000 pcs/day pays $78/month. Optional hardware (Pi edge cache, biometric device, label printer) is a one-time $1,500–$3,000 from us or any vendor. Full pricing above.
Can non-technical, low-literacy operators actually use it?
Yes — this is the core design constraint. Operators point their phone camera at the bundle ticket; there are no forms and no menus. Screens are colour-coded, voice PA announces work over the floor, and supervisors run the floor from WhatsApp. Scan the QR at the top of this page to see the operator's view yourself.
What phones and hardware do we need?
Any Android phone with a camera for operators — the ones they already own. A TSC thermal printer prints bundle QR labels at cutting. Optional: a Raspberry Pi edge cache for the floor LAN, a ZKTeco biometric device for attendance, and a TV for the live monitor. No RFID, no proprietary scanners.
Our factory has unreliable internet. Will a cloud ERP work?
A Raspberry Pi on the factory floor runs an edge cache — it holds a live mirror of work pools and operator diaries on your LAN. When the WiFi drops for a few minutes, supervisor stations keep reading work data from the Pi instead of going dark. Long outages still need internet for full sync. The Pi heartbeats every 30 seconds; if it falls silent, Cloud Functions take over within 2 minutes.
What happens in the 2 weeks to go live?
Remote deployment, no servers on site. We configure the system, onboard your operators and machines, set up your operation templates, train supervisors and operators, and stay on for 30 days of post-launch support. If you are not live in 2 weeks, we extend your subscription free until you are.
Which languages does it support?
The interface is in English and Nepali today, with Hindi and Bengali planned. The voice PA currently announces in Nepali. Operators rarely read the screen at all — the QR scan, colour feedback and voice do the work — which is why non-Nepali factories run it in English without issue.
Does it integrate with Tally or our accounting software?
Not yet. Scan ERP covers production, piece-rate pay, inventory and dispatch; accounting stays in the software you already use. We run Tally in our own factory and enter finished-goods and payroll totals there from Scan ERP's payment sheets and dispatch records.
Who owns the data, and can we leave?
You do. Cancel anytime; your data is exported in full. No contract, no lock-in, no per-user fees.
Do you work with factories in India, Bangladesh and Vietnam?
Yes. Scan ERP is cloud-based and deploys remotely, so location does not matter — factories in India (Tirupur, Noida, Bengaluru), Bangladesh (Dhaka, Chittagong), Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Cambodia and Ethiopia are all served the same way. Support is on WhatsApp.
